Late Prof. Rakesh Chandra, a distinguished Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, founded Chandra Shaikhar Sr. Sec. Public School in 1989 with the vision of empowering young minds through quality education and building an inclusive society where every individual has equal access to knowledge, opportunities, and sustainable growth.

A respected academician and visionary educationist, he firmly believed that education is the most powerful catalyst for personal transformation and national development.
